1) It's a crossover with Mutant X. The Mutant X gang comes to SD for some reason. Two of the Mutant X people are obliviously lusting after each other, one more obliviously than the other. (Jesse and Brennan?). One of them gets interested in a sunnydaler (possibly spike) because of his blonde resemblance. Spike realizes that the guy is interested in the other. After some plot that I don't remember it ends up in a very noisy threesome. They bother the rest of the house with their sex-capades. Spike is scared of the mind reader girl and avoids her. After a major angst fest in the (library/study?) about how much her powers suck, spike ends up being protective of her. I believe Xander is in a slash pairing but I can't remember who with. I also think this fic was posted on an author site and not an archive, but I'm not positive.

2) It's another crossover, this time with Harry Potter. The only thing I remember about it is that Xander, upon first entering Hogwarts, starts feeling up the walls and admiring the buildings amazing construction. I think he feels a warmth (emotional messaging?) from Hogwarts as he compliments it.

They took Charis to the ER tonight -- which wasn't a long trip, considering she's been living in the twins' room since she was discharged from the hospital. She was suffering abdominal pain, and naturally we assumed it was a complication of the pregnancy.

They did a CAT scan, and now suspect she may have ball bladder problems. Possibly unrelated to the pregnancy! It doesn't rain, but it pours ... but at least they think she's well enough to hold off on further treatment until her regular doctor's in on Monday.

In better news, Hunter's feeding tube was taken out yesterday, so he's completely on bottle/breast feeding. That's one of the prerequisites for going home, and he may be discharged sometime today.


Brayden still needs a little help with feeding and may stay a bit longer, but they're gaining weight and otherwise look just fine.


The pics are by my ex-wife, who managed to get them with their eyes open where I've repeatedly failed.

Saturday might just be the day I choose a big gay dance party over a quiet night of queer literature. I LOVE the Pride in the Word events, but I've heard good things about the Flygirls parties, and now I find myself torn. Could it be that I'm actually in more of a party mood than a literature mood? Weird.

Damn awesome events being scheduled on the same night!

Oh. It's Pride Week, by the way. I guess I should have started with that. I'll even be in the parade this year, with the TOPs gang! I'm supposed to be carrying a toaster oven, I think, but someone really needs to give me one to carry, or it's not going to happen.

And Drag Ball was on Tuesday! It was every bit as awesome as the previous years I've been, and even moreso because I was with people I knew this time! Pat McCrotch was not re-elected "Mr. Gay Vancouver Island", as I had hoped, but the newly-crowned king was seriously awesome enough to make up for it.

I also saw NiQ sing tonight, and she's amazing, but I already knew that.

I kind of want to squee some more about how much I love Pride Week, but I'm all tired and stuff. Maybe tomorrow.
